Haradinaj has good news for local producers

The Kosovo government has approved a proposal to free the excise tax decision of all producers who import themselves or through contractors, who are authorised by ATK to postpone TVS for raw materials to all energy sources used for production purposes.

The government has also adopted a proposal to free the customs tax decision of all producers who import themselves, or through contractors, who are authorised by ATK to postpone TVS for the first subject to be used in the process of production, half the products that are used in the process of production, all lines of production machinery used in production spaces and information technology equipment.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj at a media conference called these decisions bold and good news for Kosovo.

I'm going to make two major decisions today that connect with Kosovo producers, who release them from the excise. This is a bold move that I can call good news for Kosovo and producers”, he said.

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said the decisions made would have a positive effect on the private sector and producers.

“We will continue to create suitable environments for our producers and attract foreign direct investment”, he said.
