Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is placed before a crossroads, whose roads he has created. As a major opponent of the current Demarketing Agreement with Montenegro, this issue, which is still keeping Kosovars isolated, Haradinaj has also lost the solutions. Montenegro does not want to renegotiate the agreement, the EU does not accept the removal as criterion for liberalisation, while ratification of the current agreement is seen as “political suicide”. Which way will the prime minister choose? The ball is on him.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is slowly closing all exit strategies over the issue of demarcation. Until visa liberalisation is blocked in the last two criteria, fighting organised crime and corruption, and ratification of the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro, the Government of Kosovo is put before a civic and international pressure. International institutions have repeatedly, and recently even in mid-Pristina, reiterated to Prime Minister Haradinaj that ratification of the demarcation can neither be removed as criteria, but should be addressed as soon as possible. Given the narrowing of the breakthroughs, Haradinaj has recently issued a more relaxed statement than usual. “

Now we are in the process of finding the truth about the demarcation and only after we have a situation that will help us to open the subject, then we will address political partners in Kosovo, but also international partners”, he has said. This statement has further reinforced his deputy, Behgjet Pacolli, who recently said that if the new commission finds no violations, then the Government will return to the first agreement, writes Zeri.info.

On the other hand, connoisseurs of international relations and political processes in the country have said the current Demarcing Agreement can neither be changed without Montenegro's will, nor removed as criteria for liberalisation. They even say that serious states should be handed over to facts and arguments.

On the other hand, the Kosovo opposition has called on Prime Minister Haradinaj not to relax in his stance because if he brings the current agreement to the country, they will necessarily tear it down.
