Hamza shows what will be done with veterans' pensions until the list is classified

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has said the ministry he is leading will respect the change of law on war veterans, but that at the moment it will respect Article 16 A, where, according to him, in paragraph 3 of this article, the pension scheme of veterans must be implemented according to basic law until the categories of the veterans' list.

Responding to LDK deputy Hykmete Bajrami's interest in the issue, Hamza said the finance ministry has acted correctly by finding the funds for pension payments of the category.

“But the MF during the draft of the 2017 budget law and the one in 2018 will respect the whole law on changing and completing the KLA war veterans law. But Article 16 A, point 2, paragraph 3 says the law applies after final classification, while until the final classification of the KLA war veteran's list of pension schemes applies according to basic law”, Hamza said.
