EU Appeal Ruci: Integration Process Should Be Curved

To cope with the crises and security challenges we are facing today, the integration process should not be contained or slowed down. We in the Western Balkans need to show determination on the path of reforms, which is our responsibility for the speed with which the integration process” is carried out, Ruci said.
The Speaker of the Assembly stressed the necessity of intensive co-operation on security protection issues, both within member states under NATO-EU, but also with those of the Western Balkans.
Migratory “Vals from countries in the conflict and terrorist acts of the past two years have placed the European continent in a new security context, which makes intensive co-operation necessary for defence and security issues, both within member states, within the NATO-EU framework, but with those of the Western Balkans” said.
Ruci stressed that diversity of cultures and faiths should continue to stand at the foundation of open democratic societies, registering the religious harmony that exists in Albania.
