At the collection of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspolia and Strategic Investment, the issue of demarcation with Montenegro slammed among itself the AAK deputy, Time Kadrijaj, and VV deputy Dukagjin Gorani.
The latter, citing a statement by the Minister for European Integration, who, according to him, has said the demarcation will be renegotiated, demands that representatives of the ruling coalition be asked if such statements of the minister are something that they can support or not. After that, AAK MP Time Kadrijaj reacted, saying the demarcation will be resolved best by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
The commission's member from the AAK, Time Kadriy, said they should wait and give space to the commission that was formed to bring details of the border line demarcation with Montenegro. While assuming that the formed commission will have transparency and will be accounting.
The first decision has been issued by a panel we have rejected for demarcation. Yeah, well, they know, but I want to make sure that we know too. But very well, and it has assigned people very professional and people who have been very controversial in this form of demarcation. I think the important thing is to choose it properly and the limit to return where it was and it's not important whether this agreement is negotiated or what form it has to be chosen. We need to give space to the commission that was formed to bring details of the demarcation of this border line, then to talk. Then the government is what is jointly, I'm thinking that in these processes there is transparency and there is then accountability even if something is going to happen, all parliamentary groups are called up to discuss what is the form that found a solution”, she said.
That statement prompted the commission's member from Vetevendosje, Dukagjin Gorani, to react, who said that following the AAK MP's statement that the commission has gathered in vain. And in this case there was also an answer from AAK deputy Time Kadrijay.
This is coming to him that we're in a mess today. We're not collecting for the demarcation today. We're in vain. Did you address us to the ruling parties, to the minister in integration, I mean integration, then is there anything wrong if it is negotiated again? Professional commission for demarcation. Well, you're connecting for a statement. I'm connecting for a statement. If it's negotiated or something bad in there. Is there anything wrong with the deal being negotiated again? I want days if that's true. We're waiting for the commission and then we'll see. I think Mr. Haradinaj will choose this issue better than all others. So you think. No, I'm thinking, I believe, I'm not thinking, but I'm believing. You have the right to believe, I have the right not to believe. But, I believe, I don't trust you”, they said.
VV MP Dukagjin Gorani said the European Integration Minister's statement raises many questions and would be wise to have more information.
“Day I read in the media the statement of the minister for European integration, which states that the issue of demarcation is likely to be negotiated with the Montenegrin government. This raises a lot of questions and I believe that perhaps it had been better with more detailed information on this and more detailed since such a statement also interferes with the work of this commission, especially when it comes to such a sensitive subject. I believe that even the demarcation commission should consider such a statement. Now it would be interesting to ask the ruling coalition representatives who are part of this commission if such declarations of the minister are something we can support or not, something we can also analyse to put into a slightly more detailed question. Since such approaches above all are creating great confusion and because this issue is affecting us as a commission, then we should at least have the responsibility, but also have contact with people who get the right to the public form about this”, he said.
While the head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspore and Strategic Investment, Vjosa Osmani, said there are many conflicting statements concerning the matter. Meanwhile, he said that during December they will call the commission for demarcation of the border line with Montenegro in reporting.
“We need to consider the possibility of inviting the ministers of these dictatorships and getting the final answer on what is the solution they offer. Because only with answers that have a disrepute with each other I believe that there's a lot of confusion, but even more delay in resolving this matter. The more delay you know in meeting this criterion, the more delay there will be on visa liberalisation”, she said.
At this meeting of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspore and Strategic Investment, the commission's work plan for the autumn session has been reviewed.
Otherwise, this commission will have 11 members, where the chairman of this commission is Vjosa Osmani from the LDK, the first deputy chairman, Time Kadrij, second vice president, Dabush Ademi from 6+, Aida Drugi from VVV, Visar Ymer from VV, Dukagjii Gorani from LVVVVV, Dorutine Maloku from LDK, Elmi Recica from PDK, Evgen Thaci from PDK, Zafir from the Kosovo Initiative, Sdjan Mivic from the Serbian List.
