A death under discussion as a suspicious case occurred two days ago at the Toracal Surgery Clinic. The 74-year-old patient was operated at this clinic on the day the problem with oxidol gas occurred more than a month ago, Koha Ditore writes today.
Doctors at QKUKUH link her death to the consequences this gas could cause, while the State Prosecutor has ordered the autopsy of this patient's body and on the basis of the results this death would co-operate the investigation started months ago for three deaths allegedly caused by this gas.
Besides that, another patient is still in a complicated state. As the newspaper has learned, it was transferred to the Pulmology Clinic two days ago to treat lung complications allegedly caused by the gas.
At QKUK, they have claimed that the first two days' death was the result of oxidol gas used in the operation months ago and that this is not a new case.
