Daciq: Catalona doesn't have great powers behind her, Kosovo had them

Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister has reacted to Catalonian Independence declaration, saying it is a case similar to Kosovo's 2008 Declaration of Independence, but with only one difference. “Catalonia and Kosovo are the same only because Catalonia does not have great powers behind itself”, [...]
“Catalonija and Kosovo are the same only because Catalonia does not have the major powers behind itself”, Daciq has said.
He has then said Serbia has no intention of recognising Catalonia's independence.
Serbia supports Spain's territorial integrity and the act of declaring independence is not in a line with Spain's constitutional system”, Daciq has said.
According to the Serbian minister, no one can deny the fact that Kosovo and Catalonia have declared independence unilaterally.
Kosovo's “path and Catalonia is the same, the only problem lies in Kosovo's case the major powers have supported Kosovo because they had different interests and that the world is currently based on the possession of these powers, not on international law”, he has said.
