With the election day approaching, Shpend Ahmeti's political rivals have mobilised to the maximum against him.
Every means and means to prevent it from receiving the second mandate are being used.
As Periscopi learns, in recent days, besides propagandistic material and false news, part of the construction companies has been activated against Ahmeti.
Several construction companies in the capital have written Periscope about the pressure being put on them not to vote for Shpend Ahmeti.
Concerned about their workplace, they wanted to remain anonymous.
They're telling us that if you vote Shpend Ahmeti, you're gonna be out of work, that he's stopped building, and then what he did to me. Now they put you in charge of whether you want to go home, a job”, told Periscope on condition of anonymity a construction worker at one of the major construction companies in Pristina.
Pristina, since the post-war, for 13 years as long as it was governed by LDKU, had become a construction workshop without permission.
During LDK's rule, from 2000 to 2013, over 46 thousand construction has been made in Pristina without permission.
For 13 years the construction field in Pristina was a true jungle, but very profitable for those involved.
We have threats from the bosses. They're telling us that we have a chance to get back to work like this, like four years ago, and we can get through personal numbers by and day by who you voted for. Let's just get off Shpendin”, has shown another construction worker.
Due to the chaos and unlicensed construction in Pristina during the time of the LDK, in 2014 ten inspectors were arrested by the Pristina Community Inspectorate Directorate of Construction, including the chief of the sector.
Among those arrested was the owner of a private construction company.
At the time, Ismet (Cardi) Haliti, Skender (Jahir) Canol, Vehbi (Rrahman) Abdullah, Light (Hamim) Rukiqi, Blerim (Jacup), Syla, Blerim (Hyshi), Ardian (Humdi) Muhadri, Arbenita (Hyzen), Mergim (Nexhip), Shala (Alyni), Cejel (Adem), Pognar IpoZUG Company construction). The arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation into construction of construction-free facilities in the Pristina municipality.
The defendants allegedly had paid some businessmen no less than 28m euros.
Shpend Ahmeti had been declared that he and all his staff have co-operated closely with the prosecution in each case.
A number of files have been requested by the Special Prosecutor and we have collaborated with them and a number of these subjects are being investigated. There is no room for political positions here, as they are talking about criminal acts and the criminal responsibility is being carried by those persons”, Ahmeti had said.
Otherwise, the trial against the defendants is still ongoing, and at the beginning of this month, a session was held at the Foundation Court in Pristina.
Among other things, the defendants are charged with not preventing illegal construction against investors' facilities, Bedri Pristina from the company”Tegea”, Isen Sadiku”Hysi Group”, Ymer Veliu”Naki Trade”, Arber Kryzieu” Al Petrol Petrox7>, Chief Rexhepi <x> Abi”, Russia <x10form> <12> VG Construction” and noble Morina from the <x14 company > ART Group”
On the other hand, the same was supposed to have not been executed by the Inspectorate's decisions of ruining these objects.
Meanwhile, defendant Kemeil Pozheg, owner of the company “Pozegu Brothers”, is accused of falsification of documents after the same, allegedly changed construction permit in order to exploit it as an original document.. /Periscopi
