Kosovo citizens do not believe the involvement of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in Kosovo- Serbia will be a guarantee of a transparent and comprehensive process, says the survey, titled “The new phase of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue: The perspective of citizens”, published by the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), writes Koha Ditore today.
This pessimistic attitude has been manifested by 60 percent of citizens surveyed.
The project manager in KDI, Life Krasniqi, has stated at the media conference that the survey aims to highlight the citizens' attitude towards the role the country's president will have in this process, for the role of the Parliament in the dialogue process, the role of the EU, and how citizens see the normalisation of Kosovo-Serbia relations.
