The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has held a regular meeting today. Ilir Gashi at this meeting has said he wants to know when the counting process can be completed.
There are numerous complaints about when it will end and here only 19% of the material has been scanned. Is that a figure for the whole job?
Burim Ahmetaj has responded by saying the ballots should also be scanned provided this process is completed.
We're working in this direction with three shifts where 19% is scanned but there are others. Soon we'll close this process”, he said.
Adnan Jonuzi, VV representative, has said that a broader analysis must be made in the conditional vote so that it can be seen as being voted more than once.
There are over 100,000 municipalities that have voted 300 people on bail, and the reverse is low- number municipalities and eligible voters. We also want a number of invalid ballot papers that say there are more to the Municipal Assembly. And if you decide to cancel any ballot envelopes on condition as you do it”, he said.
Ahmetaj has responded that the annulment takes place if he is not part of the municipality he has voted in.
There are times when the envelope is present but there are no signatures. The opposite and we compare this data and if it doesn't fit we cancel it. I said there are 27 cases like this somewhere. And as for the disproportion, it's early to talk at this stage because there's no balloting or any sort of address book. And for the record, I said there are cases of mayors that need to be recounted. But now we're in the process of introducing the data and we're going to prepare the audit report for the CEC. But we have a huge data gap”, he said.
The CEC's chairman and members received recommendation that 3 box municipalities and 21 boxes for municipal municipalities be counted in full and not in part.
“Votations in Pristina, Prizren and in Suhareka will be fully counted. And 21 for the municipal assembly will be counted. Meanwhile another 27 cases to be processed at the CEC”, he said.
