A person living in the United States and two others, one living in Pakistan and someone in the Philippines are being arrested and facing charges of possible terrorist attacks and allegedly being soldiers of I SIS. This was thought to be to repeat another September 11th.
Police have announced charges of Abdulrahman El Bahnasavy, 19, a Canadian citizen divided into New York; Talha Haroon, also 19 years old, an American citizen living in Pakistan and Russell Salic, 37, from the Philippines.
El Bahnasawy was arrested in May 2016 and convicted last October on seven terrorist charges. He's waiting for his punishment.
He was arrested in Pakistan in September 2016, while Salic was arrested in the Philippines in the month of April last year. Both men will be extradited to the United States.
The planned “Sulmet included explosive bombs in Times Square and in the metro system in New York City”, police forces have said. New York was the city under attack during September 11, 2001, when some 3,000 people were killed and which led George Bush to undertake a terror campaign in Afghanistan and Iraq.
There was a bomb attack on Times Square in 2010, for which Faisal Shahzad was sentenced to life in prison. He failed to attack anyway. The Pakistani-born American citizen has been named by institutions as the unmerciful <x0 terrorist”.
