Albania's Assembly has not approved the request for the arrest of MP Saimir Tahiri.

With 75 votes against and 60 pro, the Albanian Parliament voted against this requirement by refusing to grant authorisation for Tahiri's arrest, Periscopi writes.

The open vote was made with electronics and attended by the Assembly were 134 deputies.

Otherwise, with a very short statement, former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri has been addressed today, ahead of the vote, where he will be decided for his fate.

At the start of the parliamentary session, after Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci gave his word, MP Saimir Tahiri said he welcomes any decision by the Parliament's deputies.

I welcome your every decision. My path to finding justice cannot stop”, he said.
