Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has reacted after the announcement that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has asked the AKP to launch adequate reform procedures in force that the fate of the Youth Palace be returned to the citizens of Pristina.
In a post in his account in “Facebook”, Shpend Ahmeti recalls that about two years ago the Pristina municipality has submitted a request for the Youth Palace to be returned to the Communists, so to return from Social Company to Municipal Public Company, “considering that the Palace of Youth was built with the financial contribution of the citizens of Pristina”.
But according to him, despite the words Government Mustafa did not make the slightest step.
And Prime Minister Haradinaj's request, Ahmeti called it good news for Pristina.
The “will support and congratulate any government decision that is in the best of Kosovo citizens and especially Pristina. This is certainly such a decision”, wrote Shpend Ahmeti, demonstrating the hope of quick conclusion of the process.
