Over 5,000, 500 observers for runoff in Macedonia

K The SZ for the second round of elections has accredited additional numbers of observers and journalists. Of the local observer's greatest number of observers there are MOST ʹ 2,917, then the ZHA Citizens' Association, “Sinnergia” Stip 1,829, Civilian Centre for Freedom 207, Institute for Economic Strategy and International Relations Ohrid-Skopje 125. The Skopje Institute for Understanding and Co-operation Centre CRIS Skopje 17 and Macedonia Centre for Culture and Development six observers.
Of the outside countries, greater number of observers have O Mission SBE/ ODIHR 289, then the US Embassy in Macedonia 35, EU Delegation 23, International Election Research Centre (IESC) 18. Observers have also accredited the NATO Office in Skopje and the embassies of Albania, Russia, Austria, France, Great Britain, Sweden, Hungary, Holland, Italy, Slovakia in Macedonia.
Montenegro's State Election Commission, Kosovo and Bulgaria's Central Election Commissions and International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) Office in the Republic of Macedonia. The KSHZ has also received 315 translators. Twenty journalists and those from Al Gezira Balkans, Voice of America, Kosovo Press News Agency, Russian Information Agency TASS, Hungarian state television, Voice of America, Asoshietted Pres and TV Visional Time Pristina. In the first round of local elections, which were held on October 15th, 5,011 locals and 373 foreign observers, as well as six foreign journalists, were accredited.
