Set preliminary dates for sessions in the “Thaci case and others” for actions against justice administration

The Special Court has announced that preliminary dates have been set for holding court hearings on the “Thaci and others”, which relates to charges of criminal acts against justice administration.
According to the Kosovo Specialised Chambers' announcement, the sessions are scheduled to be held on 17, 18 and 19 August 2026. However, these dates are considered preliminary and may vary according to further procedural developments.
In this case, Hashim Thaci, the Smaj Union, Isni Kilaj, Fadil Fazliu and Hajredin Kuci, who face criminal charges related to justice management.
After confirming the indictment, all five accused have been acquitted.
The Special Court has announced that it will issue further reports concerning the development of the judicial process.
