Prosecutor: Video footage proves that Sergeant Lika's assassination was planned

The six accused of killing Kosovo Police Sergeant Muhamet Lika, as at the initial hearing, have again been declared innocent at the new court hearing Thursday at the Foundation Court in Ferizaj.
Prosecutor Ismet Nundman said the material evidence and the footage provided testify that the murder was planned and that the accused have assisted the suspected author before, during and after the crime was committed.
According to the prosecutor, April 1, 2025, had started off as a typical work day for Sergeant Muhamet Lika, who after completing his working hours at Kacanik, about 10:54, set sail for his residence but never reached his destination.
The reason why he was deprived of life with firearms from minor Rayhan Bella”, Cantman said.
He stressed that from the analysis of security camera videos have been identified persons involved in the case and that, according to the Prosecutor, Rayhan Bela is the direct author of the murder, while the other five defendants have acted in co-ordination by offering help before, during and after the execution of the crime.
Lika was killed on April 1, 2025, in Kacanik after work hours were completed. He was shot entering the apartment.
