With permission to stay at MPB: Three women among those arrested, fourth foreign citizen

Police investigators from the Border Police Investigation Sector after a several-month investigation, in co-operation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), report that today under the authorisation of the Department of Establishive Prosecutorial Crimes in Pristina, a control operation has been carried out in the offices of the Directorate for State, Asia and Migration ( DSAM) under suspicion of involvement in criminal activities by officials of this directorate.
Police have seized evidence and relevant evidence related to the case.
Two suspects -- DShAM officials -- G.J., (Birth year 1975, Kosovo female) and F.S. -- (Birth year 1979, Kosovar female). D.K., (born year 1988, male, foreign citizen), has also been arrested in quality. Also in the quality of the suspect has been interviewed by E.Q., (year of birth 1972, Kosovo woman)”, the report said.
The upper-persons allegedly in co-ordination have issued residence permits for foreign citizens, enabling them to handle relevant documentation, benefiting wealth illegally.
To suspects, the case has been initiated against criminal acts: misuse of official position or authority, bribery, falsification of official document and bribery.
With the prosecutor's decision, the first three suspects have been sent to maintenance for up to 48 hours, while against the suspect E.Q., the case will be held in regular procedure, police reported.
