(an hour ago)Democratic League of Kosovo MP (LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has called for closure of the Spherka depot and full investigation into institutional responsibility regarding the fire that, according to her, has continued for nearly ten days.
Bajrami has welcomed the Kosovo Security Force's decision and the order of the KSF commander, Lieutenant General Union Jashari, for the engagement of specialised units in the depot.
“we welcome the Kosovo Security Force's decision and the order of KSF Commander General Union Jashari, for the commitment of specialised units to the Sferka depot”, it has written on the social Facebook network.
However, Bajrami has criticised the delay in the institutional response, stressing that intervention has come after several days of constant burning.
“Unfortunately, this commitment comes after nearly ten days of constant burning”, the LDK deputy said.
It has sought to investigate responsibility for the delay, institutional inaction and damage to the health of citizens, environment and property. /Periscope/
