Permission to import biocids and pesticides is prohibited by a task official for abuse

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has banned a person for misuse of official office or authority and for for counterfeiting the official document.
According to initial data, the prosecution said the investigation concerns the suspicion of issuing permits for several economic operators, of importing biocids and pesticides products, which are prohibited for use in the Republic of Kosovo according to the European Chemicals Agency's (ECHA) list of the European Union.
Suspect with initial N. M, being investigated for criminal acts: Misuse of the official position or authority from Article 14 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK) and forging the official document from Article 427 of KPRK.
The prosecution said the arrest was carried out by Kosovo Police, while at the order of the State Prosecutor, the suspected person has been detained for 48 hours.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police and other competent institutions, vowed that it remains committed to combating crime and corruption, as well as to undertake all necessary investigative actions in line with legislation in force. /Periscope/
