Abdjik Download: This is a draft of LDK delegates' request

“We, the delegates signatory to the Democratic League of Kosovo's Assembly, present this requirement in exercising statuteic rights that guarantees us as members of the highest decision-making body of LDK”, says in the document provided by Kanal 10, where a group of delegates requires the activisation of statuteic mechanisms for confidence and the dismissal of party chairman Lumir Abdzixhiku.
In the draft of this requirement, which support delegates have signed, the initiative is said to be based on the LDK Statut provisions that enable the vote for confidence in the president by a certain number of members of the Assembly.
According to document makers, the main reason for this demand lies with the results of the last three election processes, which they estimate the LDK has not achieved the expectations of membership and electorate.
“Nini 27.1 of the Status stipulates that LDK chairman answers to his work the LDK Parliament and that, with the proposal of a third (1/3) of the members of the Parliament, the question of vote of confidence in the mayor could be raised. ” ] writes, among other things, in this document.
The document also says:
Article 17.6 stipulates that the Assembly is called even when one third (1/3) of delegates making up it requires it, while Article 17.7 requires that the country thus be kept within the 60 (60) deadline from the day of writing application.
Similarly, Article 27.4 charges the House call within the same term in the case of raising the vote of confidence against the mayor. ”
The signatories claim that this initiative is not aimed at creating divisions within the party, but, as stated in the request, “arding the functioning of domestic democracy and respecting the principle of accountability”.
According to the LDK Statut, if the application is submitted by the necessary number of delegates, the Assembly should consider the issue within the set deadlines.
In the event of the approval of the dismissal proposal, Article 27.2 -- in connection with Article 21 of the Statut -- stipulates that the mayor's mandate will cease.
