(5 hours ago)Albania's Defence Minister Ermal Nufi considered the Serbian minister's statement, Snezana Paunovic, scandalous and unacceptable, which said if it had been Milosevic's place, it would have carried out ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.
At the conference held today for the media, Nufi noted that any support and silence in the face of such a statement is equally murderous.
“I believe the statement is scandalous, unacceptable, I believe any comment on the nature of that statement, except for these two words, is inappropriate. It is unacceptable today to have such a statement. The prime minister has indicated, the foreign ministry has indicated. I as defence minister can join the position of the prime minister fully. I believe that the reaction itself in Serbia has shown that even there, people of reason, have the European stance we want to see from the Serbian side. Any rhetoric of this nature is unacceptable, and punishable any support and silence in the face of such a statement is equally murderous.”, Nufi said, reports A2Periscope broadcast.
