Kosovo citizens storm the coast: Over 11,000 people enter Albania in only 4 hours

The first weekend of July has brought a high flow of movement to Morina's Border Cross, where thousands of Kosovo citizens have turned to Albania.
Only during the interval of 050009:00, 11,725 citizens from Kosovo have entered the Albanian territory with 2,740 vehicles, according to the Border and Migration Directorate data. The high number of entrys has created temporary lines at the border, while authorities have activated all control sports to accelerate procedures.
Kosovo's license plates continue to implement the relief transition regime, in line with the agreements in force, while accelerated procedures are being followed for vehicles with foreign license plates to avoid delays.
Meanwhile, traffic in the direction of Morina has also been burdened by two accidents occurred one by one in Vremica, near the border with Albania.
