Jarinje: Over 7 thousand undeclared pharmaceutical products discovered

Kosovo customs has uncovered more than 70,000 undeclared pharmaceutical products in Jarinje.
It becomes known that they were discovered during regular raids at the Jarinje Border Cross Point, where customs officials stopped for control of a bus of the regular international line.
"During the search of passenger luggage has been identified with a suitcase containing a considerable quantity of drugs and pharmaceutical products that had not been declared to the customs authorities and were not associated with the relevant” documentation.
According to Dogana, a total of 7,168 pharmaceutical products, out of which 7,100 were in the form of capsules, while 68 products were in other pharmaceutical forms, including syrup, spray and gel”.
Since none of the passengers have accepted ownership over the trunk, in accordance with Law provisions No. 08/L-247 The Customs Code and Actis Code has been initiated against the transport company as responsible for transporting goods and luggage in cases where their owner is not identified.
