The big drama in Azteca, England with 10 players wins with a lot of suffering against Mexico

England has secured the qualifications in the quarterfinals of the World Cup, following a dramatic 3-2 victory over Mexico at the iconic stadium“Azteca”.
The match was a confrontation filled with excitement, goals, and sharp turns, with the main protagonist Jude Bellingham with two results.
The English team started the fight nervously, with Dean Rice being punished with yellow cardboard in the first minute.
Mexico had more possessions at first and created the first serious case in the 15th minute, but Raul Jiménez's head shot stopped by Jordan Peckford. Despite local pressure, England advanced in the 36th minute, when Bukayo Saka assisted for Bellingham, who scored with his head.
Just two minutes later, the English doubled the advantage. After a quick action and combination with Harry Kane, Bellingham scored the second personal goal for 2-0.
However, Mexico reacted before the break, narrowing the figures in the 42nd minute with Julian Quinones, who scored from inside the area after a standard badly returned blow from English defence. At the end of the first part, locals risked even more, but Pickford and English defense maintained their supremacy.
The second part began at a high pace and opportunity for England, but the crucial moment of the match came in the 53rd minute, when Yarell Quansah was punished with red card directly after a dangerous intervention, a decision confirmed by the VAR. Despite the numbery inferiority, England won a penalty in 58th minute after Anthony Gordon crashed into the area. Harry Kane was correct at 3-1.
Mexico did not surrender and returned to the game in the 68th minute, when Raul Jimenez scored from the white spot after another confirmed intervention by the VAR.
Until the end, locals exerted constant pressure and surrounded the Peckford Gate, but English defense resisted until the last whistle, even after 11 additional minutes.
With this victory, England moves to the quarterfinals where it will face Norway, which earlier eliminated Brazil. The match is scheduled to take place on 11 July in Miami.
