AKK: Citizens are not compensated with photos, we demand immediate compensation, and the Emergency Fund for the Communists

Through a public reaction, the AKK Board expressed deep concern over the damage caused by recent flooding in several municipalities in the country.

According to the AKK, it is unacceptable that much of the damage from the flow of 2023 and January 2026 has not yet been offset.

“Citizens do not need visits and photographs, but for concrete support and fair and quick compensation”, it is said in response.

The AKK stresses that municipalities have completed the damage assessment and have fulfilled their obligations, while now, according to it, the responsibility falls on central institutions to act without delay.

The Association Board has reiterated three key requests:

The immediate compensation of damage from the floods of 2023 and January 2026;

The sharing of urgent funds for municipalities affected by recent flooding;

Establishing the Emergency Community Fund as a permanent mechanism for rapid response to natural disasters.
