13 years in prison for Dad trying to kill his son

The Constitutional Court in Mitrovica has sentenced the defendant to 13 years in prison with initials, D.B., after convicting him of criminal acts “heavy attempted murder” and “keeping possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
The indictment was announced on July 23, 2026 by the chairman of the court, Xhemal Jusuf.
At the announcement of the Constitutional Court of Mitrovica, D.B. was found guilty of attempted murder, events that had occurred in the village of Stanoc in Vushtrria.
According to the Constitutional Prosecutor's Act in Mitrovica, the defendant had attempted to deprive his son of life, while during the case he had even possessed weapons without authorization.
The case was reported on July 28, 2025. After the incident, D.B. had been on the run for several months until he was arrested on November 14, 2025, after an operational work of the law bodies.
At the time of his arrest, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica had announced that D.B. Suspected of criminal acts “The heavy attempted murder” and “keep ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
With the act declared on July 23, 2026, the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica sentenced D.B. 13 years in prison for criminal acts he was convicted of.
