According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Baston has received an official announcement launching investigative procedures and is expected to be questioned by Italian authorities.
Reports indicate that football player is being investigated for suspected contact with a 17-year-old girl, under a broader investigation under an alleged network of juvenile prostitution in the Milan area.
The local prosecution is continuing investigations into the organisers and suspected persons involved in the case, while Baston is mentioned in the files as a person allegedly using the services of this network. However, until this phase of the procedure no charges have been filed, and investigations are still under way.
Meanwhile, the Italian agency ANSA reported that other popular football names are mentioned in the investigation, among them Rafael Leao, Dusan Vlahovic, Olivier Giroud, Acraf Hakimi, Dean Huijsen, Daniel Maldini and Arthur Melo. According to reports, their names are found in files within the investigation, while remaining to clarify each and if further action is taken against them by the authorities.
