Marta Kos calls for political compromise in Kosovo

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has called for political unity and compromise in Kosovo, stressing that institutional stability is key to advancing the country towards the European Union. It also expressed readiness to intensify co-operation with Kosovo in the European integration process and implementation of the Growth Plan.
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has ordered that, in order for Kosovo to progress on its path to the European Union, political forces must join and find compromise to build institutional stability.
Kos is the first official from Brussels to welcome the election process and congratulated Albin Kurti on victory in Sunday's elections.
