Israel temporarily shuts down airspace after intercepting a Yemeni missile

Israel temporarily closed air space Monday after intercepting a missile launched by Yemen, according to local media.
The Israeli Army said it caught the missile after the sirens were heard in the large area of Tel Aviv, as well as in parts of central and southern Israel.
Israeli Interior Front's command had earlier issued warnings following the discovery of missile launch.
Media later reported that Israeli authorities decided to temporarily shut down the country's airspace after the incident.
Developments came in the midst of high regional tensions, as Iran launched several hail rockets towards northern Israel late Sunday, following an Israeli air strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Israel later launched attacks on western and central Iran, with explosions reported in several Iranian cities, including Tehran, Isfahan and Tabriz. / Periscope/
