Iranian attacks, Netanyah calls emergency security cabinet meeting

Following the recent escalation caused by Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the ongoing Iranian attacks, the Israeli prime minister has called an emergency security cabinet meeting at 11:00.
This is a closed-door meeting in which only a small group of key ministers will participate, according to reports by Israeli media.
Iran and Israel are again on the path to escalation of war in the Middle East, just days after the agreement to extend the ceasefire in Lebanon.
The meeting comes after Iran launched attacks on Israel. Iran launched rockets towards Israel on Sunday in the first such bombing since a fragile ceasefire entered into force in early April, complicating mediation efforts for an agreement to end the war.
“A short time ago, sirens were heard in several areas across the country, following Iran's identification of the missiles issued towards Israel's State”, the military said Sunday in a statement.
Israeli Army IDF has also announced on Monday that it identified a new wave of rockets issued by Iran towards Israel.
“Defence Systems are acting to capture the” threat, the IDF said./ Periscope/
