High Fluks at Morina border point, thousands of citizens head towards Albania on vacation

Morina's border checkpoint is facing an increased influx of movements, as many citizens from Kosovo and the region have chosen the Albanian coast for summer holidays.
According to official data, during a 12-hour period, between 8:00 and 0800, a total of 14 thousand and 113 people have entered Albania, of which 12,000 and 642 foreign citizens and 1 thousand and 471 Albanian citizens.
Also, during this time 119 buses have been registered that have passed through this border point, reflecting the significant increase in circulation during this summer season.
Meanwhile, the number of exits from Albanian territory has been markedly lower, with only 1,000 and 887 citizens going in the opposite direction.
Despite the major influx, authorities suggest that no long wait has been created at the Morina border point, while transition procedures are being conducted normally, facilitated even by free movement agreements between Albania and Kosovo.
