US conducts new attacks on Iran, Tehran counters with rockets, fears

The United States has carried out new attacks on Iran after a threat struck a Panama-flagged tanker on Saturday in the Strait of Hormuz.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it has hit several targets on Iranian territory, saying the attacks were a direct response to the ongoing <x1-perception” against shipping.
In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said they have launched missiles and fears of American military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain.
According to a statement published by Iranian state media, the attacks targeted Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait and the fifth US Navy in Port Salman, Bahrain.
After the exchange of attacks, the US and Iran accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement, the BBC writes.
According to CENTCOM, Iran was given the opportunity to respect the ceasefire, but chose not to do so, as its forces released a self-destructive threat that hit MT Kiku Custer, on Panama's flag.
In response, American warplanes hit 10 Iranian military targets at several locations inside and near Hormuz Strait.
Among the targets hit were military equipment, communication systems, air defense positions, and drone depots.
On the other hand, IRC claimed the U.S. had attacked five coastal posts in Iran, justifying action with what it called the “IRC Navy confronting with the trespass ship”.
Also, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed that ballistic missiles and its drones hit “key objects” of the US military infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain, claiming they were destroyed.
