More than 1,400 earthquake casualties in Venezuela increase

The number of victims from devastating earthquakes in Venezuela has reached at least 1,430 people, according to National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez.
The search-saving teams from various countries in the world are continuing to work on finding survivors and extracting bodies from the ruins, while many still fail, reports BBCPeriscope broadcast.
The two quakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, that hit the country's north on Wednesday, have also left thousands injured and caused major destruction in infrastructure.
Venezuelan authorities have indicated that over 50,000 people are still missing, while a special phone line for reporting cases and seeking assistance has been activated.
Meanwhile, a track at Caracas Airport has been reopened for flights, enabling American aircraft to launch humanitarian aid for those affected by this major natural disaster.
