Daut Haradinaj counters MPB: Cannot cover truth “with Shoe”

Alliance MP candidate Daut Haradinaj has reacted today to the issue of citizenship law, demanding full transparency and institutional responsibility in its implementation.
By Gjakova, on the “Armend Qymyr” route, Haradinaj has stated that he is trying to cover the truth about the citizenship registration process, stressing that “the sun cannot be covered with shoe”. “It is unacceptable that there is a lack of transparency in a matter so sensitive to the state. Kosovo needs full responsibility and clarification before citizens,” has he said. According to Haradinaj, the debate has intensified following the adoption of the citizenship law, which has been voted in the Assembly with the support of the Vetevendosje Movement and the Serbian List. This law, according to him, enables citizens who have lived in Kosovo until 1999 to apply for citizenship, without excluding cases requiring deepening institutional verification. He has stressed that institutions must ensure that the process is not misused and the state's integrity guaranteed. Haradinaj has demanded that the issue be addressed with high seriousness and full institutional control, avoiding any misinterpretation or lack of transparency in public opinion.
