CEC shows when final results will be announced

If everything goes according to the Central Election Commission plan, by June 26th the final results of the parliamentary elections that were held yesterday, said CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi.
He told of activities within the polling centres to declare final results and of the plan that has approved at the beginning of the election process.
“After the planning set by the CEC in the plan of activities approved since the beginning of this election process, if there are no complaints, the announcement of final results is scheduled to take place by June 26th. So this is forecast or planning on the operational plan of the CEC” activities, he said.
Elez said that “certification of final results and the closure of the election process is scheduled to take place by July 6th”.
The spokesman explained that this could be postponed beyond planned dates, depending on the complaints of political subjects and candidates in the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtesa, and then the Supreme Court.
We need to clarify that these are just planning, because all of this depends on the performance of activities, the dynamics that develop in these centers. Also, amid the proclamation of final results and certificates, there is a complaining process that must be carried out in various institutions such as PZAP and the Supreme Court”, he said.
