(2 hours ago)The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced citizens that due to the organisation of the Kosovo Championship in Cycling 2026, today and tomorrow there will be temporary restrictions on vehicle flow in road segments involved in the racing route.
According to the official announcement, the first day of the championship, June 24th, will be dedicated to the individual time course (ITT), which will begin at 10:00. The riders will be moving on Ferizaj via HIB Petrol in Bibaiy Babaush, along the section of the “Arber Xhaferi” highway and in the opposite direction. The completion of the race was preceded by about 12: 00 p.m., the Klankosova broadcast.tv.
Meanwhile, street racing (Road Race) will take place Thursday, starting at 10:00. The route includes the Ferizaj axis (Bibaj) ʹ Hani of Elez ʹ Ferizaj Truda, a 100km long. Organisers have announced that the outcome of the race is expected to take place in the Truda around 1300.
The ministry has called on citizens and traffic participants to plan their moves in time, avoid possible delays and respect the guidelines of the Kosovo Police, race officials and signalling located along the streets where sporting activities will take place.
