Brian Latifi: The LDK is approaching the end of its historic existence

University professor Berim Latifi has commented on the situation established within the Kosovo Dedmocratic League.
In a Facebook post, Latifi estimated that the LDK is approaching the end of its historic existence.
According to him, this is happening because of the inability to fill the big gap left by its historic leader, Ibrahim Rugova.
The historical political parties live as long as they can connect the past with the future. They die when the relationship breaks down. When memory is transformed into an archive of homesickness but ceases to be a source of inspiration and hope, then the process of historical digesting"began, Latif wrote.

I want to be clear from the beginning: My opinion below expresses, not my wishes, but a completely neutral observation. Or the philosophical language: a hypothesis.
I think the LDK is coming to an end of its historical existence.
Continuities, the inability to fill the big gap left by its historical leader, as well as the ever-intensity gap between memory and hope, have produced a prolonged state of fatigue and political depletion. Memory continues to exist but fails to generate the energy needed to design a future that convinces people

I'm under the impression that this very process is being experienced today by the LDK. I may be mistaken because history teaches us about numerous unexpected setbacks and seemingly impossible resurrections. At the moment, however, it does not seem that we are just seeing a future crisis but the symptoms of a slow historical end.
