Banks raise payment fee within the bank to 5 euros

Banks in Kosovo have raised to 5 euros the fee for payments citizens carry out within bank branches. In most banks, the fee for a salary in the sports, or within the bank, is currently 5 euros, up from 2.50 euros last year.
This fee is mostly affecting elderly people, and citizens who do not know or have access to online banking services. For them, sports remains the only way to pay bills, obligations or other services.
On the other hand, payments through bank applications or online platforms are much cheaper, in some cases with symbolic or free tariffs.
But M. J, pensioner from Pristina, says it is impossible to use these applications. For him and many citizens in Kosovo, paying physically in bank sports still remains the only way they have it.
M.J., has offered evidence as to how the bank in which the client is, had stopped as a 5-euro bill for less than 1,000 euros.
This is terrible. I'm a pensioner. 5 euro fees for a fee”, he has said. /Exaonline
