KLA veterans appeal to protesters in Tirana: Do not misuse KLA symbols for political purposes

The KLA War Veterans' Organisation has publicly expressed its concern for continuing efforts to manipulate political and instrumentalise KLA symbols at the several-day protest in Tirana.
Its chairman, Hysni Gucati, has described it as unacceptable and insulting to the dignity of the war for the sake of the KLA in Tirana to speak and present individuals or groups that for years have attempted to fade, divert and to lower the value of our liberation war.
“The KLA's OVL re-edited with full responsibility that the KLA cause is not and cannot be an instrument of any political agenda or of narrow personal and party interests”, he has said.
The KLA's OVL has called on protest organisers in Tirana to guarantee the integrity of the protest and not allow any attempts to manipulate, misuse or false self-excussion in the name of former KLA soldiers or veterans.
The leader of veterans has said the KLA is part of the history of our people's freedom and sacrifice and should be treated with respect, not for political gain.
