Algeria officially complains at FIFA for Leo Messin

Argentina's 3-0 victory over Algeria in the 2026 World has been accompanied by controversy outside the field.
The Algeria Football Federation has filed an official complaint at FIFA on several judges' decisions during the match, questioning one more case with Lionel Messin.
At the center of the debate is an intervention by the Argentinian captain to Algerian defenders Aissa Mandi, where Messi seems to touch him with heels in the pulpa during a duel.
The Algerians claimed that intervention should be punished with red card, while reference Szymon Marcinika and the system NO interference.
The Algeria Federation has asked for clarification by the FIFA reference commission, raising concerns about the decision dispute during the tournament.
In addition to acting with Messin, the Algerians have mentioned another crash where Alexis MacAllister was charged with a blow to Ibrahim Maza.
Despite the controversy, Mess was the absolute protagonist of the challenge.
The Argentinian star scored a show and equated Miroslav Klose's historical record with 16 goals in World Cups.
The debate has sparked discussions in sports opinion, where some analysts have claimed the situation should be revised by the VAR, while others have defended the judge's decision, considering a controversial episode. /Periscopi/
