Over 6 thousand citizens were left without driving licenses this year

Kosovo police have indicated that since the beginning of 2026 it has so far confiscated over 60,000 driver's license.
Police said confiscating drivers is based on traffic-related laws.
“Regarding your questions, we inform you that Kosovo Police implement all relevant laws in the Republic of Kosovo and in concrete cases traffic-related laws, in which, in addition to fines for various counter-injury, have also been provided with safeguards, so by the beginning of this year 6,259 drivers have been barred from driving with motor action.
