(2 months ago)Chinese leader Xi Jinping has told US President Donald Trump that China and the U.S. can “crash” or even engage in conflict if the Taiwan issue is mismanaged, Chinese state media reported.
Taiwan issue is the most important issue in China- US”, Xi said during their summit, according to state broadcaster CCTV, writes The Guardian.
“If treated incorrectly, both countries could crash or even get into conflict, pushing the whole relationship China- U.S.A. in a very dangerous situation”.
Chinese state news agency Xinhua quoted Xi as saying that, if the Taiwan issue is not addressed properly, the two countries will crash or even enter conflict, bringing relations to China- US in “a very dangerous country”.
