Just weeks before elections, Kurti continues to appoint deputy ministers

Despite the criticism he received days ago, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has continued to add his cabinet.
Friday, in a statement by the prime minister's office, it has become known that the Secretary of the Guxo Party, Triera Kasumi-Berisha, has been appointed deputy minister at the Ministry of Economy.
Deputy Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Mrs. Kasumi-Berisha for the new task and wanted success in fulfilling new responsibilities”, said the announcement.
Early this month, a day after it was scheduled for parliamentary elections to be held on June 7th, Kurti had named three deputy ministers. The move had prompted reactions by opposition parties, which had accused the incumbent prime minister of extortion of the state budget at the end of the mandate.
