Protests escalate in Albania, police effective hit by stone in the head

Protests in Albania have been staged again, as protesters have been practicing violence against police effectives. During the crash, a cop was hit with a rock in his head.

Before Albania's Parliament, at the time it is expected to launch plenary sessions, protesters have gathered and started throwing eggs and stones in the direction of Socialist Party deputies (PS), as well as the effective police who were securing the perimeter of the Parliament.

Protesters have managed to get inside the security perimeter, as they have not been prevented from entering one of the premises in the pedonal area.

Police have so far accompanied at least five protesters in front of the Parliament. These include activist Gent Progny.
