A broad action by the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption has shaken the capital Thursday.

Three people, among whom well-known public figures and municipal officials, have been placed in heavy suspicion of counterfeiting documents, fraud and legalisation of false content regarding the elimination of property.

At the centre of this action is Liridon Restelica, about 42-year-old, known to the public as former head of the public company “Pristina Parking”, writes Insander, broadcast Periscope.

Along with him, police have arrested Fitim Sertoll, official at the Geodez and Kadast Directorate in the Pristina municipality, as well as Shdtim Sogoyev.

This group allegedly co-operated in a complex scheme to manipulate property documents, damaging public and private interest.

By order of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, investigators have four different locations, including the homes of suspects and Kadastri's offices in the Pristina municipality.

During these raids, authorities have seized material evidence that testifies to the luxury lifestyle and means used for suspected activity: Audio Q7 (2017) car worth about 40,000 euros, Skoda car worth about 38,000 euros, Rolex hand watch, and technology equipment: 5 phones, 4 USB, laptop and an external HDZ.

Numerous property files allegedly part of the manipulation scheme have also been seized.

The action comes as a continuation of an investigation that started months ago. On February 25, 2026, two more people, Mihajlo Milovanovic and Zelko Jagodic, had been arrested for the same case.

The suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence attorneys and, at the order of the State Prosecutor from the Randa Crime Department, have been sent to maintenance for 48 hours. /Periscope/
