(2 months ago)Presidential duty officer Albulen Hadziu appeared before reporters to announce that the meeting has failed after Parliament announced earlier an invitation for a chairmanship meeting.
The Kosovo Assembly was disbanded after failing to elect the new president and the new elections were scheduled on June 7th.
Haxhiu said that even though the Assembly is distributed, they have “responsibilities” to address certain issues.
We planned a meeting of the Headship, though it is distributed, as the head of the Parliament to address certain responsibilities ahead of us, handling the Kosovo Assembly's 2025 expenditure report, and other issues that are due”.
This invitation was not responded to by other parties. Meanwhile, Haxhi himself referred to herself as the head of the Parliament.
But, as you see at this meeting, it was just me and the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Emilja Rexhepi, and the other members of the town. Ardian Gola is abroad, and for others, at least I as Speaker of the Parliament, have not had information about their absence.
