A positive result with Huntavirus, the 11th person from the Canadian ship

A Canadian citizen aboard the MV Hondius tourist ship, which was involved in an outbreak of hantavirus during April, has resulted in positive results with the virus.
According to officials, the person is one of four individuals standing in solitary confinement in Vancouver Island after returning from travel on the tourist ship, he had shown slight symptoms of the disease, reports the report. BBCKlankosova broadcast.tv.
Authorities have stressed that four people have had no contact with the public since they arrived in Canada.
In this case, the total number of people infected by the explosion aboard the ship has gone to 11, while all are passengers of the MV Hondius tourist ship.
According to international media reports, three people traveling the ship have lost their lives, while two have confirmed that they were infected with hantavirus.
Of the six Canadian citizens on the Dutch ship, two were identified in Ontario, while two other couples were standing in solitary confinement in Vancouver Island. The person who proved positive is from Yukon.
So far, none of the other five people have resulted positive with the virus.
The cruise ship was launched from Argentina on April 1, and after weeks of travel, it was anchored in Tenerife, the Canary Islands of Spain, where 147 passengers and crew members from 23 countries were asked to enter isolation.
The World Health Organization has recommended 42-day isolation for those who have been in contact with the virus.
Initially, Canadians had been asked to isolate themselves for 21 days, but authorities have warned that this deadline could change.
