(a month ago)Within the last two days, Kosovo Police in Prizren have seized two firearms on separate occasions.
According to police, the first case occurred on May 25th at 23:20 in the village of Lubizhda, Hasi. After an indictment for gun shooting, police patrol has identified the suspect, who admitted to having fired during a family gaze.
He voluntarily handed over a gas gun “Z O RAKE M”, a clip, 28 rounds and 8 shellings.
Material evidence was seized by the forensics unit, while at the prosecutor's order the suspect was detained for 48 hours.
While the second case was reported to have occurred on May 27th, at 23:15, on “Remzi Ademiaj”.
During a routine check at a bar, a pistol was found in the suspect, a clip and 14 bullets.
The suspect has been escorted to the police station, where, after interviewing in the presence of the defence attorney and by order of the custody prosecutor, he has been detained for 48 hours.
Also, weapons and ammunition have been seized as material evidence.
