Three police officials arrested: IPK appears with new details after anti-corruption operation

Kosovo's Police Inspectorate has announced that in today's operation led by the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina, the Randa Crime Department, respectively, four suspected police officials have been escorted to the IPK facility.
After interviewing three police officials have been arrested, and with the prosecutor's decision, the detention measure has been imposed for 48 hours, while against another official the case will continue in regular procedure.
According to the announcement, the operation was carried out at several locations in Pristina, Fushe Kosovo and Obilic, on the basis of the Constitutional Court's ordinance in Pristina and has included the raid of five) official persons and two (2) civilian/citizens suspected of involvement in criminal activities related to certain criminal acts.
“Investigations related to this case to the four police officials are under way in co-ordination with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, with suspicion of criminal acts “due to use of official position or authority”, “Step-in of the procedure's secrecy” and “Returning statements through the tribulation”, says in communiques.
In the interest of the IPK investigation, the IPK has recommended the suspension of four police officials involved as suspects in the case.
