(2 hours ago)Former Alliance leader Ramush Haradinaj has reacted to developments related to the V milk source The ITA, naming any action leading to its closure as a serious blow to local production, farmers and Kosovo's economy.
Through a public response, Haradinaj said that the closure of one of the largest local producers, according to him directed by the government in office, affects not only one company but also thousands of farmers who each day hand in their milk, hundreds of workers and families dependent on the event.
“The ITA is a blow to local production, against Kosovo's farmer and to any family living from honest work”, Haradinaj has declared.
It has criticised the approach of institutions, saying that instead of supporting local producers, it is creating obstacles and uncertainty about their investments.
According to Haradinaj, Kosovo is not built by closing factories, but by protecting local production, farmers, workers and entrepreneurs who invest and create jobs.
In the end, the former Alliance chairman has called on the institutions responsible to stop any decision that, according to him, endangers the local production and welfare of Kosovo families.
